Introduction
Welcome to the Big Ten Academic Alliance Knowledge Base!

A knowledge base is a centralized repository for information, designed to help users find answers quickly. It can include FAQs, guides, and troubleshooting steps. Some materials may require users to register for access.


Access:

To access our knowledge base, go to https://support.btaa.org/
For FIRST TIME users

FOR FIRST-TIME USERS:

  1. If you're a first-time user, click the Register button underneath the Sign In button.
                        
    1. Note for Google users: You will be redirected to authenticate via a Microsoft account. In the Microsoft sign-in window, enter your institutional email (.edu address), then enter your email password in the "enter password" box that appears next. Once authentication is completed (if applicable), you will see the countdown timer. 
    2. If you're unsure about your institution's Microsoft account access, please contact your local library or campus IT for assistance.
  1. You will immediately be directed to a page with a countdown timer and the following message:
"Your Account is currently being provisioned, please wait until the timer below is completed
Once the timer completes, you will be redirected to our Knowledge Base Login
After a few minutes you will be granted access to additional articles."
  1. Once the verification is complete, you will be re-directed to the home page. This time you will be logged in. To confirm your sign in was successful, check for your initials next to the Home button in the top right corner. 
                        
  1. After successfully signing in, you can use the menu to search/browse the various available articles or submit a support request.
For RETURNING users

FOR RETURNING USERS:

  1. If you're a returning user, click the Sign In button. 
  2. Once you've signed in, you will be re-directed to the home page. To confirm your sign in was successful, check for your initials next to the Home button in the top right corner (an image in the "FIRST TIME users" section showcases this).
                        

Articles:

  1. Click the View Articles button to browse the various articles available. 
    1. General help articles and FAQs are in the General folder.
    2. All library articles are located in the Center for Library Programs folder. 
                        
 

Issues:

  1. If you're having trouble accessing the system or have any questions, click the Submit a Request button to submit a support request.
